About Trpanj

Trpanj is an picturesque little village on the northern shore of Peljesac peninsula, located half way between cities of Split and Dubrovnik.

Peljesac offers a magnificent mountainous background for beautiful bays, pretty villages where the time seems to stand still, vineyards and olive woods. It is regarded as one of the most famous Croatian regions for producing high quality red wine, including the world famous Dingac.

The tranquility, the quiet and picturesque landscape, rock-and pebble beaches, a crystal clear sea and the hospitality of the villagers and Gric B&B will make your vacation an unforgettable experience.

Trpanj hosts numerous restaurants and cafes, a club, bank, post office, pharmacy and medical station, various shops and a quiet tourist-and fishing port. Everything is only a short walking distance from the Gric B&B.

Trpanj can be reached by car, bus and airplane, choosing between the airports of Split and Dubrovnik. A shuttle service can be arranged for the guests arriving to the latter. If you choose to travel by car you have the option to take a motorway all the way from Slowenian border to the port of Ploce or, during the season June 1st to September 30th, to take the coastal ferry line from Rijeka to Korcula starting or closing your vacation with a nice little cruise along the Croatian coast with its numerous islands. Day trips by catamaran to Split, by bus to Dubrovnik, by ferry to Korcula , national park at the island of Mljet as well as by car to Mostar ( Bosnia and Herzegovina ) can be easily organized.

The 961 meters high Mount St.Ilija is a popular goal and offers a rewarding view over Peljesac and surroundings.
